Man dies after road crash

A man has died after a road traffic accident near Midsomer Norton in Somerset.

The 19-year-old driver of a Metro crashed into a tree on the A362 near the junction with Welton Road on Sunday morning.

The man, from Bath, died in Frenchay Hospital on Wednesday, said police.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision, but police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed it or saw the car beforehand.
