Group held after crack cocaine raid

Twelve people have been arrested after police recovered crack cocaine from a house in east Oxford.

The group were detained after 15 officers swooped on a property in Cowley Road at 2300 GMT on Wednesday.

They were detained on suspicion of drug-related offences including possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

The group was questioned and released on police bail pending a forensic analysis of the drugs.

Police say they do not know yet how much the haul is worth.
