Attacker's description released
Police have released a description of a man wanted in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

The man is alleged to have attacked a 25-year-old woman at 2130 GMT on 1 November near a cemetery in the town.

The victim was walking along Bisley Road when a man grabbed her from behind in the entrance to an alleyway.

He is described as white, between 40 and 50 years old, between 5 ft 9 ins and six feet tall and of medium build.

His hair is described as long and untidy with strands of grey.

He was unshaven with a thin face, a pointy chin, and bushy eyebrows and wearing dark trousers and shoes, and a knee length dark coat.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the attack or who recognises the description of the alleged offender.
