Man attacked outside his home
A man needed 13 stitches after sustaining an eye injury during an attack outside his Berkshire home.

The victim was kicked to the ground by a man when he went outside his house to investigate a commotion in Maryside, Langley, on Friday, 21 November.

The 40-year-old was treated at Wexham Park Hospital for a suspected fractured cheek bone and bruising to his ribs and shoulders.

The attacker was described as white, in his early 20s, of medium build with light brown hair.

He wore a long-sleeve white shirt and light- coloured trousers and was with at least five other people who did not take part in the assault.

The group of men may have visited The Chestnuts public house in St Mary's Road, Langley, prior to the incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
