Three rescued from fire
Three women have been rescued following a severe fire on the ground floor of their house in Cambridge.

The alarm was raised at around 0300 GMT on Friday.

Two fire crews from Cambridge were called to the mid-terrace house in Crowland Way in Kings Hedges.

A ladder was used to reach the three women, who were all trapped on the first floor.

An investigation has begun into the cause of the fire.
