An 18-year-man has been charged with child abduction and aiding and abetting a suicide attempt after two people were found in a car suffering from gas inhalation.
Russell Alan Page, of High Street, Aldershot, Hampshire, was arrested after the incident in Surrey on Tuesday.
Police said they were called to Follyhatch Farm, Wyke Lane, in Ash, at about 1000 GMT.
They found an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl in a white Nissan Primera.
The pair were taken to Frimley Park Hospital suffering from the effects of breathing in gas.
Mr Page will appear before magistrates on Thursday.
