Four hurt in fire engine crash
A fire engine has been involved in a five-vehicle crash which has left four people injured.

The pile-up happened in King's Drive, Eastbourne, on Thursday evening as the crew was on its way a report that people were trapped in a building.

But the alarm turned out to be a hoax call according to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said none of those injured was seriously hurt.

One firefighter had to be taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Sussex Police.
