Crack operation yields 14 arrests
Three people have been charged and a further 11 arrested after a three-month operation targeting crack cocaine dealers in south-west London.

Wandsworth Police raided homes and shops over three days this week, recovering large amounts of the drug as well as guns and money.

"We are committed to ridding Wandsworth of drug dealers who cause so much misery," said Detective Inspector David Manning.

Two men, both aged 28, and a third man aged 22 have been charged with supply.

Meanwhile, the Met is warning drug-users in Newham, east London, that a "bad batch" of heroin may be in circulation.

Two men, suspected of overdosing on the drug, were found in separate incidents.

Syringes found

A 20-year-old man was found dead at an address in North Street on Thursday with a syringe near his body.

Later that day, a 30-year-old man was found unconscious in Fern Road. A syringe was also nearby.

He was been taken to an east London hospital in a critical condition.
