Cannabis haul on tile lorry
A tonne of cannabis worth £2.5m has been found hidden in lorry load of tiles on a ferry from France.

The resin was discovered by customs officials when they stopped the vehicle at Poole ferry port in Dorset.

It had arrived from Cherbourg on Wednesday.

The drugs had been concealed on pallets of ceramic tiles.

The driver of the lorry, a 56-year-old man from Winsford, Cheshire, was questioned by customs officers before being released on bail.
