People who want a seat on Concorde could still get their opportunity even though the famous aeroplane has been retired.
A Herefordshire-based company is storing about 400 seats from the supersonic aircraft for British Airways.
European Aviation hope to be given permission to sell on the small pieces Concorde's illustrious history to members of the public.
Spokesman for the Ledbury-based firm, Trevor Whistler, said what happened next was up to British Airways.
"At the moment we're just awaiting from permission from British Airways as to what they want us to do with the seats.
"What we'll be looking to do is either sell them to another airline or, alternatively, maybe we could sell them members of the public.
"We're exploring that at the moment."
