Charges over overdose death

Dorian Foxwell is believed to have overdosed on heroin
Two people have been charged with the manslaughter of a man whose body was found dumped in a country lane.

Thomas Lee Neptune Chapman and Katie Jones, both from Newport were charged with the manslaughter of Dorian Foxwell as well as offering to supply heroin and obstructiong a coroner.

They are due to appear in court again on November 14.

Mr Foxwell's body was found by a jogger in Hawse Lane, in the St Brides area near Newport, on 25 October.

Police investigating the death have revealed that Mr Foxwell, who had a young daughter, probably died from a heroin overdose.

Mr Foxwell lived between two addresses in St Mellons and Newport.
