A man from Cleethorpes has been killed in a head-on crash early on Tuesday morning.
He was driving on the A15 road between Scunthorpe and Lincoln just before 0600 GMT when the multiple vehicle accident happened.
The crash victim, who has not been named by police, was driving a car which collided with a lorry close to RAF Scampton.
Three ambulances were sent to the scene and three other people in the car were taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment.
Sergeant Craig Dunderdale of Lincolnshire Police said: "Three lorries and a Citroen Xsara were travelling south on the A15.
"The Citroen Xsara car collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction which resulted in fatal injuries to the driver of the car."
One of the lorries was laden with grain which spilled on to the road and diversions had to be set up while the spillage was cleared.
