Service for road death families
A special service is to take place at Hereford Cathedral for families who have lost relatives in road accidents.

It will be held by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cardiff, Peter Smith, who will be preaching there for the first time.

There were seven fatal road accidents in Herefordshire between April and September 2003, with nearly 60 people seriously injured over the same period.

The service is being held in support of anyone who has lost a loved one on the roads, whether locally, across the UK, or abroad.

Members of the emergency services and staff from accident and emergency departments will be attending.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 16 November.

It will be the fifth time the service has been held.
