In pictures: Schweppes award

1 of 8 The inaugural Schweppes Photographic Portrait Prize has been won by Scottish photographer Roben Antoniewicz. The judges felt his portrait of his granddaughter Mairead on her second birthday was "astonishing".

2 of 8 Second place went to Victor Albrow for his picture of five-year old twins Lachie and Callum which the judges described as a "refreshingly witty take on contemporary portraiture."

3 of 8 Alan Powdrill's shot of Gerry George, a professional model and writer, took third spot...

4 of 8 ...and fourth went to Nadav Kander's 'Interruption', taken surreptitiously as Kander walked along a street in Dungeness, Kent.

5 of 8 Brothers and Sisters by David Yeo won him the Deloitte Award for the best portrait taken by a photographer under 25.
