Halloween faces
Two girls were injured in a trick-or-treat attack
A 12-year-old girl has appeared in court charged with attacking two other children in the run-up to Halloween.

The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, did not enter a plea to charges of grievous bodily harm and common assault when she appeared before Wrexham Youth Court.

The case has been adjourned for three weeks and the defendant will reappear on 25 November.

The charges relate to an attack on a 12-year-old girl and her friend, who cannot be named, which was allegedly carried out by trick-or-treaters.

One girl suffered a broken hip in the attack.
