Police carrying out a series of drugs raids on a housing estate in Wrexham have been cheered and clapped by residents.
Acting on information from people living on the Caia Park estate six men were arrested and seven homes there were searched.
Heroin and a stun gun were seized in the operation which involved 23 police officers.
Three of the men have been charged with possession of heroin and one man has been charged with possession of a stun gun.
Four men are due to appear before Wrexham magistrates on Wednesday.
North Wales Police Sergeant Darren Jacks said: "At one address in Churton Drive the local residents cheered and clapped as we broke down the door and arrested two people - it was a great feeling for the police officers involved.
"We intend to build on this success with similar operations in the near future.
"We are determined to remove any drug dealers from Caia Park."
The operation, code named Barbary, was aimed at cutting the supply of Class A drugs on the estate.
