India and China are holding a second day of talks in Delhi today over long-standing territorial disputes.
The Chinese vice foreign minister, Dai Binggao, is due to meet the Indian Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, and Foreign Minister, Yashwant Sinha.
India disputes China's control of some territory in Kashmir, while China claims land in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in north-eastern India.
Correspondents say China has recently toned down its rhetoric over another disputed territory, the Indian state of Sikkim, which China says was annexed illegally by India in 1975.
