Drugs raids net 90 people
Crack cocaine
Police seized cocaine and other drugs
A total of 90 suspected drug dealers have been arrested in Derby as part of a continuing police operation since April.

Nearly £200,000 worth of drugs including crack cocaine, ecstasy and heroin were also seized as part of Operation Anvil.

It is part of a major clampdown by police to disrupt the work of alleged drug dealers in the city.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cheetham of Derby Police said: "Give us the information, there is proof that we act on it.

"It doesn't happen overnight because drug dealers are difficult criminals to deal with, but, we've got the resources to deal with it.

"To the drug dealer, we will seek you out, this is a continuing operation and we will arrest you and convict you."
