Romanian border police studying in Britain
The police officers are returning to Romania
Fourteen border police who travelled from their native Romania to study at a British university are celebrating their graduation.

The postgraduate students have been studying at the University of Wolverhampton's Business School.

The team are the first batch of public sector workers from Romania to complete intensive training courses in human resource development.

The students, all senior officers within the Romanian Border Police, took join the course that forms part of the force's radical internal modernisation project.

Romania, as part of its commitment to joining the European Union, is introducing a comprehensive set of reforms designed to bring its legislation, policies, systems and working practices into line with European standards.

The border policemen's training is part of those reforms.
