Gas victim's inquest opens
The Bush, Shimpling
The brothers were found in an annexe at the pub
An inquest into the death of a man who is thought to have died from carbon monoxide poisoning was opened and adjourned on Thursday.

Kelvin Massey, 20, was found unconscious on Sunday in a building in Shimpling, near Bury St Edmunds.

Paramedics were unable to revive him.

His younger brother Kevin was also found unconscious and was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston - where he spent several days in intensive care.

But on Thursday he was allowed to return home.

Police believe a leaking gas fire in the building may have produced poisonous carbon monoxide fumes.

The brothers' parents, Joe and Sue Massey, run The Bush pub in the village of Shimpling.

Their sons were found at about 1130 BST on Sunday in an annexe at the pub.
