Well-wishers from the Prime Minister's County Durham constituency have sent messages of support after he was treated in hospital for a heart problem.
Tony Blair's official spokesman said he is "fit, fine, in good spirits and 100% recovered" after hospital treatment for an irregular heartbeat.
Mr Blair is now back behind his desk in Downing Street after his heart scare on Sunday.
People in Sedgefield, County Durham, have been phoning with get well messages.
Mr Blair's Labour Party agent John Burton, who runs day-to-day affairs for the Prime Minister at his constituency, said he had spoken to Mr Blair's wife Cherie.
Thoughts and prayers
He said: "I have spoken to Cherie and Tony is fine. He went into hospital and had some
treatment and now he is fine."
Mr Burton said Mr Blair would be in the thoughts and prayers of the people of Sedgefield.
He said: "We have already had a lot of phone calls from local people wishing him
well."
At Mr Blair's local Labour club in Trimdon, regulars said they were thinking of him.
Eric Wilkes, a member of the club's committee, said: "People were concerned. Everybody's thoughts are with him."
A barmaid at the club, who did not wish to be named, said: "People's thoughts are with him and we are pleased that it is nothing too serious and that
he is going to be okay."
