Depressed schoolgirl missing near coast
Rachel Bozier was known to be upset when she went missing
A teenage schoolgirl who has gone missing and was known to be feeling depressed and upset could be in Kent, police have said.

Rachel Bozier was last seen by her family a week ago, on 16 October, when she left for school.

On Friday, 17 October, she met her boyfriend in Chatham and telephoned her mother - since then she has not been in contact with any of her family or friends.

Kent Police believe the 15-year-old is still likely to be in the county and possibly somewhere coastal or in the Medway area.

A spokesman said the teenager is 5 ft 4 in tall, with a medium build, blue-green eyes, shoulder-length blonde or brown hair and a fair complexion.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform - grey trousers, a white shirt, a blue patterned tie and a black jacket - with Dr Marten boots.

The teenager was also wearing a silver cross or chain.

Police are hoping to speak to anyone with information that can help them find her.
