A 55-year-old man has died after his car was involved in a head-on crash in north Somerset.
The man, from Chilcompton, was driving along the A37 Upper Bristol Road at Clutton when his car collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath but died a short time later.
Police investigating the cause of the accident have appealed for anyone who saw the crash, at 1559 BST on Wednesday, to contact them.
Officers say the man's identity will not be released until his family has been informed.
