A 31-year-old man is in custody after a 19-year-old cyclist was killed in a crash.
The woman's body was discovered on the road between Tarrant Rawston and Tarrant Monkton, near Blandford in Dorset shortly before midnight on Sunday.
A bicycle was found nearby, police said.
En route to the collision, officers also discovered a red and white caravan with its front end damaged.
The vehicle appeared to have gone off the road on the B3082, about a quarter of a mile east from the junction with Blandford bypass.
Both roads were sealed off as police carried out a full examination of the crash scenes.
A post-mortem examination of the dead woman, who was from the Blandford area, is due to be carried out on Monday.
An investigation to establish the cause of death and to discover whether the two incidents are linked is under way.
The man arrested in connection with both accidents is being questioned at Poole police station.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the Langton public house in Tarrant Monkton on Sunday night to contact them.
