Boy dies in house fire
A three-year-old boy has died after a fire badly damaged a house in north London.

Fire crews were called to the two-storey house in King's Road, South Harrow, just after 1700 BST on Wednesday.

Raman Pathak, 35, and his 10-year-old son were helped out of the house by neighbours and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus brought out his younger son.

All three were taken to Northwick Park Hospital but the three-year-old was pronounced dead.

Mr Pathak and his surviving son suffered minor burns and cuts and were later discharged from hospital.

Fire investigation teams are trying to establish the cause of the fire.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
