College buries time capsule
A time capsule is to be buried in the foundations of a new building at Hull College.

The ceremony on Wednesday will celebrate the start of work on the new learning complex and commemorate life at the college in 2003.

Objects to be placed in the capsule were selected in a competition among college staff.

They include a computer mouse, the college internal telephone directory, a copy of the college's customer praise-and-complaints card and details of how much lecturers are paid.

Hull College's principal Trevor Jameson said: "The time capsule will serve to remind future generations of learners just how much education will have changed."
