Siege after man shot with air gun
Police negotiators are at the scene of an armed siege in Newmarket, Suffolk.

Armed police were sent to an address in Exning Road in the town at about 1500 BST on Sunday after a man was seen firing an air rifle from a window at the property.

The man was reported to have fired at a taxi driver, who was hit in the stomach. His injuries are believed to be minor.

It is thought that no one else is in the house. Officers are trying to persuade the man to give himself up.
