Man dies after 'gas fire leak'
One man has died and another remains seriously ill in hospital after being found unconscious by police in west Suffolk.

Suffolk Police found the men in the annexe of The Bush pub in Shimpling, between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury, at about 1130 BST on Sunday.

A police spokesman said officers are investigating a suspected gas fire leak but describe the death as a tragic accident.

The dead man, whose name has not been released by police, is thought to be a 21-year-old who lived locally.

The other man, who has not been named, was taken to the James Paget Hospital at Gorleston with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
