A school has been given nearly £500,000 to build an outdoor sports centre for pupils and the local community.
The money has been given to Herschel Grammar School in Slough, Berkshire, by the National Lottery.
A total of £5m has been set aside by the fund to provide schools and communities across the south east with modern sports facilities.
Herschel Grammar School's state-of-the-art sports centre will boast six courts, an astro-turf pitch and special facilities to play hockey and badminton.
There will also be access for the 90,000 community visits that are expected each year.
