Two teenage girls 'assaulted'
Police are investigating two alleged assaults on teenage girls in Jersey car parks.

Both incidents took place in the island on Friday.

Police say a 14-year-old girl was indecently assaulted as she walked through the car park next to Cyril le Marquand House.

They are also investigating an alleged assault on another 14-year-old girl while she was walking through the first floor of Patriotic Street car park just before 2300 BST on Friday night.

Approached girl

The Cyril le Marquand House incident is believed to have taken place shortly after 2300 BST when a man approached the girl.

He is described as being around six feet tall, of medium build and dark European in appearance.

He was wearing black jeans and a denim jacket.

The girl managed to get away and ran off in the direction of the Parade.

Police are asking any witnesses to either assault to contact them or the Crimestoppers line.
