A man accused of murdering his 14-year-old daughter has been remanded in custody awaiting trial.
Sean Brown, 35, from Darwen, Lancashire, is accused of raping and murdering Carrie Ann Brown.
Carrie Ann suffered neck injuries when the car she and Mr Brown were travelling in crashed on the M6 south of Carlisle, Cumbria, on 14 August.
She was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle, but died after her life support machine was switched off.
Mr Brown denied the charges of rape and murder, and was remanded custody by Preston Crown Court. He will face trial next year.
