Two Yemeni men have been arrested in Pakistan for suspected links to Osama Bin Laden and his al-Qaeda network, security officials in Islamabad say.
The pair were intercepted in Faisalabad along with a Pakistani companion, and are now being questioned by intelligence officials.
One suspect is said to be a top aide to alleged terror mastermind Abu Zubaydah, who was captured in the city last year.
Over 500 al-Qaeda suspects have been arrested in Pakistan since 2001.
Most are now in United States custody at the Guantanamo Bay detention centre in Cuba.
Reports say preliminary investigations revealed the two men detained on Monday had fled a tribal region close to the Afghan border, after a raid by the Pakistani army earlier this month in which eight al-Qaeda suspects were killed.
