Two in court over robbery
Llandysul
The robbery allegedly took place in the centre of the village
Two men from north Wales have been charged with armed robbery and taking a vehicle without consent .

Arwel Wyn Jones, 27, and Martin Williams, 37, both of Caernarfon, appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Friday.

Both men were remanded in custody until their next appearance at Swansea Crown Court on 4 November.

The robbery is alleged to have taken place at the entrance to the Llandysul branch of Lloyd's TSB bank at about 1045 BST on Tuesday.

A handgun allegedly used in the robbery is still missing, as is the fluorescent green, sleeveless workman's jacket that one of the men was said to be wearing.

Detectives are asking people in the Llandysul, Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan area to keep an eye out for these items.
