Leeds United footballer Jody Morris has been released on bail after being questioned by police over a second allegation of serious sexual assault.
The 24-year-old midfielder was arrested on Tuesday in Surrey, along with another man from London.
The two men were questioned by officers at Chapeltown police station, in Leeds, but released on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier this month, Mr Morris was arrested and bailed on a separate allegation of serious sexual assault on a young woman.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said on Wednesday: "West Yorkshire Police yesterday arrested two men, a 24-year-old in Surrey and a 26-year-old in London in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault.
"The alleged incident happened some time ago but only recently came to light during an on-going West Yorkshire Police investigation into a separate matter."
Leeds United were unavailable for comment.
