Thrown-out man injured near nightclub
A 21-year-old man has been found lying unconscious in the street with serious head injuries just minutes after he was thrown out of a nightclub.

The unnamed man, from Southsea, Portsmouth, is in a critical condition in the intensive care unit at Southampton General Hospital.

He was found lying unconscious on a pavement at the back of Lush and Bliss nighclub, in South Parade, Southsea, at about 0200 BST on Saturday.

A 35-year-old man from North End, and a 20-year-old man from Waterlooville have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Hampshire police want to hear from anyone who knows why the man was "ejected" from the club and came to be lying in the street.
