A meeting will be held to discuss £1.6m proposals to transform a chapel in Herefordshire.
Proposals include a total conversion of Wesleyan Chapel to house a new library, tourist information centre and citizens advice bureau.
The plan would also provide a study area and a meeting place for residents.
It is due to be discussed at a meeting on Wednesday.
Herefordshire Council said the empty Grade II listed building was so important to the area it wanted to make sure residents approved of the plan.
"We're committed to improving access to services for residents of Kington and the surrounding area," said Herefordshire councillor June French.
"The ambitious plans we've unveiled will provide locals with a modern library and information services and create a valuable community and business resource for the area."
The meeting will be held at Lady Hawkins Community Leisure Centre, in Kington, from 1930 BST.
