Motorcyclist dies in motorway smash

A motorcyclist has died in a crash on the M6 motorway.

Police were called to junction 10 on the M6 northbound at Walsall just after midday on Saturday.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision.

The motorcyclist died at the scene and one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesman from the Central Motorway Police Group said the motorway re-opened just before 1600 BST.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
