The hunt for a convicted child killer who has gone on the run is featuring on BBC's Crimewatch programme on Wednesday.
Helen Stacey, 44, from Norfolk, is on parole after serving five years of a seven-year sentence for shaking to death a five-month-old baby.
She has gone missing and is thought to be with a man charged with kidnap and blackmail.
Police think the pair may be in Scotland.
Stacey, 46, a former prostitute and childminder, was jailed for life in 1998 for shaking Joseph Mackin to death.
Her trial at Norwich Crown Court was told Joseph was shaken by Stacey in a fit of temper and died from a serious brain injury.
The court was told that the boy was found "floppy like a rag doll" at Stacey's home in Hellesdon, near Norwich.
Joseph was declared dead an hour later.
Stacey's conviction for murder was reduced to manslaughter at the Court of Appeal in 2001.
