Double detonator theft
Railway engineers
The detonators warn train drivers that engineers are working
Explosive equipment described by police as "extremely dangerous" has been stolen in two separate thefts.

Nine railway line detonators were taken from the house in Roughwood Road, Kimberwood Park on Thursday night.

In a separate incident, a car containing a case of railway detonators was stolen on the same night in Lambeth Street, Doncaster.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman warned: "As they are pressure-activated they are extremely dangerous."

The devices - used to alert approaching trains to railway workers on the tracks - are described as yellow discs with silver strips protruding from them.
