Three teenagers are due to appear before a youth court on Monday charged with the murder of Bristol busker Alistair MacLeod.
The youths aged 14, 15, and 16 were remanded in custody by city magistrates on Saturday.
There was no application for bail.
A fourth youth also arrested in connection with police inquiries has been released without charge.
Alistair MacLeod 's body was found in his flat in Easton on 19 September.
It is thought he had been dead for a number of days.
A postmortem examination revealed the 38-year-old musician had died of head injuries.
Officers investigating the case believe Mr MacLeod suffered his injuries in an assault several days earlier.
