Hunt for missing brother and sister
Two children missing from their Suffolk home for more than a day may have been taken to Yorkshire, say police.

Lyndsey Smith, 11, and her brother Lewis Murray, 14, left their home in Lowestoft, Suffolk, with a female family friend early on Monday.

Suffolk Police said they were due to return on Monday night, but when they failed to show up were reported missing by their mother.

Officers said the children had left home with the woman to visit another friend in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, but may have taken a trip to Doncaster.

A police spokesman said it was thought the woman, who has not been named, and the children could be in Doncaster, south Yorkshire, visiting a different friend.

He said they were thought to be travelling in a green Audi 80, registration number D301 VCF.

He urged anyone who has seen them to contact Suffolk Police.
