An elderly Alzheimer's sufferer who went missing on Friday has been found safe and well.
An appeal was made by Grampian Police after Terrence Haines, 77, wandered from a parked car in Alexandra Road in Elgin, Moray.
When his wife returned to the car a short time later there was no trace of her husband.
Police were becoming concerned because the pensioner was not dressed appropriately to be out in the colder weather overnight, but said he has now been traced.
