Police appeal after sexual assault
A woman was threatened and sexually assaulted as she walked along a towpath in Herefordshire.

The woman was walking alongside the River Wye between Greyfriars Bridge and The Lines when a man approached her on Monday at 2130 BST.

She was threatened and forced onto the ground where she was sexually assaulted.

The man, who then accompanied the woman back towards Hunderton, was last seen riding a bicycle in Wallace Avenue.

He is described as white, aged between 17 and 20-years-old, with short dark spiky hair and was wearing a puffa jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses.
