Man stabbed stopping vandals
A man received several stab wounds after he tried to stop two youths vandalising a bus shelter.

The victim was with his girlfriend in his car and stopped when he noticed the pair outside Applegarth in Fieldway, New Addington, South Croydon, at about 2145 on 10 October.

He challenged the two and a during a "scuffle" the man was stabbed "three or four times".

The two suspects then ran off towards Lodge Lane.

The stabbed man is now at home recovering from his injuries.

Police describe the first suspect, who stabbed the victim, as aged between 16-18, of slim build and wearing a green zip-up hooded top with a dark coloured hat underneath the hood.

He has what may be protruding or crooked top teeth that affect the shape of his top lip.

The second suspect is a shorter white male of similar age.

He had short fair brown hair and was wearing a black and white baseball cap.

The two suspects were writing graffiti the bus shelter and police are keen to identify anyone who owns any of the following graffiti tags DTM; LAMAH; REAH or; BEAH; BEAM.
