Nearly £30,000 is being made available for community schemes which aim to reduce crime in Lincolnshire.
Community groups, parish councils, youth clubs and charities are being encouraged to apply for the funding.
It is the seventh time Lincolnshire's Police Authority has run its Local Safety Fund.
Last year 38 organisations across the county received money for activities such as starting up neighbourhood watch schemes, youth projects and alarm and lighting security systems for village halls.
'Worthwhile schemes'
This year the authority says it wants people to see ideas for imaginative projects, each of which can receive up to £1,500 and are encouraged.
Chairman of the Authority's Community and Consultation Committee, Ken Short, encouraged the local community to get involved.
He said: "We want to encourage people to identify some really worthwhile schemes for this fund which will make a real difference to their community."
