A possible attempted abduction outside a Lincolnshire school is being investigated by police.
A 10-year-old boy was approached by a man outside his school on Lincoln's Birchwood Estate on Friday morning.
The youngster is said to be extremely distressed, and is being interviewed by specially trained detectives.
Officers say he was waiting for the gates to be unlocked at St Hugh's School when he was approached by a man who had been standing at a nearby bus stop.
The boy ran away, managed to climb over the school walls and was found by a member of staff.
The man is thought to be in his late 20s, tanned, slim and about 5ft 8ins tall.
He had short brown receding hair with gold hooped earrings.
The police are appealing for witnesses.
