Mid-East press mulls Iraq cabinet

Saudi papers hail the importance of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's visit to Russia, while other Mid-East papers comment on Iraq's new cabinet.

Some papers are touting various parties as suspects for the assassination of Ayatollah Muhammad Baqr al-Hakim.


Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz's visit to Russia today is an historic one. A visit such as this has not been made for 70 years. This confirms the high level of bilateral relations reached between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia's Al-Watan


President Putin has the reputation of changing his country's map and turning Russia into one of the most prominent countries in the world. As long as the aims coincide, there is a need for the two countries to open new horizons to a more comprehensive co-operation, without any old resentments.
