Endowment mis-selling claims

The FSA gives firms only a limited time to deal with complaints

A number of leading insurers have admitted they are currently unable to process endowment complaints in the eight weeks they are given by the FSA, due to the sheer volume of claims.

We spoke to Walter Merricks, Chief Financial Ombudsman and Stephen Sklaroff, deputy director general at the Association of British Insurers.
