Boat breakdown causes traffic chaos
Ambulance launch Flying Christine
The boat was being towed from St Peter Port to St Sampsons
A boat being towed by road in Guernsey caused traffic chaos after the trailer it was travelling on broke down.

The Ambulance Launch 'Flying Christine' was being moved from St Peter Port to St Sampsons when the rear axle on the trailer broke.

The breakdown occurred on the seafront shortly after 0800 BST and caused major traffic congestion throughout the morning rush-hour.

The trailer has since been fixed, and the area has been cleared.
