Police reveal abductor's face
Artist's impression of attacker
The man spoke with a Jamaican or Caribbean accent
Police hunting a man who tried to abduct a teenage girl have released an artist's impression of the attacker.

He tried to drag a 16-year-old girl into his car on Wednesday, as she waited at a bus stop in Oakley Road, Southampton.

A man walking his dog came to her aid and the attacker drove off.

She then walked to a friends house and called the police.

Vital intervention

Detective Constable Danny Fussell, from Hampshire Police, said: "The dog walker had left the scene when we got there, but it is very possible that without his intervention we could have been dealing with a very serious incident.

"We don't know who he is, but urge him to contact us as he will be able to provide witness information which could be vital to tracing the suspect."

The suspect is said to have a Jamaican or Caribbean accent, and was wearing a blue fleece.

His car was a red four-door with a dark interior.
